Looking for a less-explicit game similar to Borderlands?

I'm an adult, I can buy M-rated games. That is not the issue. While I can pretty much tolerate any level of blood and gore short of something that would be on a Saw movie, the excessive swearing and crude sexual jokes I've seen on the ESRB site / trailers for Borderlands make me a little... uncomfortable. Not that I can't ignore stuff like that, but is anyone aware of a less explicit alternative?
