Can your finger swell from overuse?

Ok, So to make a little extra money since I cant find a job I helped my friends mom clean her windows, after about 7 hours of using the Windex my finger started to hurt and now it looks slightly puffier than my other index finger. It hurts a little at the joint, does that mean my finger is swollen? and can it get swollen from something like this? Please help. Thanks =)
