Guinea Pigs, Guinea Pigs, Guinea Pigs?

I have had two baby male guinea pigs for a month now. They are about 2 months old. They get along fine, but they are still not used to me. I've been told they are social, but they still hide in the Pigloo whenever I come to feed them. I've tried laptime, i've played with them but they are still like that. Also, they mess up their cage really fast. I just cleaned it yesterday, and there is already hay, food, and chewsticks everywhere. The cage looks like a dump in a day. Can I train them to stop messing everything up. And lastly; Is it okay that I use windex to clean their cage. I wipe the bottom with it, but I let it dry before I put new bedding in. Is this okay? The Carefresh seems to leave dust on the sides of the cage. Should I switch to aspen shavings?
