Recommend any good foreign movies/series that are most likely to have subtitles?

So after watching X-men First Class, I realized that I LOVE watching shows that are spoken in a different language and reading the subtitles. It's also good for learning the language so can anyone recommend any? Oh as for preferences, I would love anything Chinese, French, Japanese and Italian and give me an idea of what the story is. For genre, animated is preferred and NO horror and explicit sex, soft is fine though :)
