I moved into a new house last winter and was delighted to hear it had a huge garden in the backyard. Unfortunately, once the snow melted I was disappointed to find it in awful shape. hi. i was sitting at my wood desk with a piece of paper and i was doodling with a blue sharpie marker on the piece of paper. when i lifted the paper up, to my horror, the marker had run through the paper and stained the wood. i tried scrubbing with Windex, Pledge, and paper towels and the permanent marker won't come off of the desk. Windex on lcd projection screen....help?

My 3 yr old sprayed windex on the screen and now there is a black mountain shaped splotch in the bottom left corner as well as a black v shaped mark in the middle. It's a sony 55" projection lcd screen...Will it dry out on its own or should I remove the cover and blow dry with a hairdyer? Is it even reversable?

Anti Reflective coating and a old silk cloth with Windex residual and cleaning?

Anti-reflective coatings are really good but you do have to be careful with cleaning them or they smear. Also they dont' last for ever but it does help to look after them properly. Get a proper spray/wipe designed for anti-reflective coatings and a microfibre optical cloth. Silk tend to get static and anyway isn't very effective with things like grease. It doesn't scratch which is why its recommended. Microfibre has ALL the advantages ( I had glasses before microfibre came out). Glasses are expensive and it pays to look after them properly. I don't know if your environment will wear the coatings out more swiftly, they certainly do wear out but I find it takes about 5 years or so.

Will my Glass 20 gallon be safe for a hamster?

I highly recommend glass tanks for hamsters since they will chew through plastic ones. The windex should be fine by then, but if you want to be sure, before putting it to use, dilute it with water. Glass tanks work best for small pets such as hamsters and gerbils so they dont throw bedding out or chew through the plastic. make sure you have a lid though so it wont climb out if you have any tall toys or houses for them. How can people do so badly in a class that doesn't require even the slightest effort to get an A or B? In my freshman and sophomore english classes, you never got homework. The only "home work" you had was to read an story out of the book, then the next day you have a quiz on it. He goes over the quizzes in class and you can pretty much cheat, and he wouldn't notice. The bigger assignments you did was write papers, do two speeches, and write journals. You didn't even have to put much effort, and you would get an A or B. Brief Sickness after Sunbed?

Recently used a sun bed (Well, sun booth, it was one where you stood up)... I clean a lot because it's the only way i can reduce my anxiety. When i see dust & i don't clean it up i will feel really anxious until i finally clean it. But, mainly i clean to reduce anxiety. I don't clean things in any particular order. I can't stand seeing prints on the faucet handles or refrigerator handle. I will have to clean it with windex several times a day...i even use a hand towel so i wont leave any prints. When someone comes over i'm literally on the floor cleaning up their shoe prints off the floor. Then i clean it again after they leave. What could cause pulsating right pectoral pain?

Ive been experiencing some dull pulsating pain in my right pectoral that primarily hurts on the underside to central area of my pec. The pain can last anywhere from 1-15mins and only occurs once every few hours. Been going on for almost two days. Could this been an exercise strain or something that should potentially be addressed by doctor asap? Pain is very mild at best. Not experiencing any other pain related to soreness or bruising that I'm aware. No shortness of breath or any abnormal heart/breathing signs that I know of, or pain while taking deep breaths. Yeast Infection Got Worse - I Think?

First, I am 7 months pregnant. I went to my doctor and found out I had a bad yeast infection (which she said is very common when you are pregnant). She told me to use Monistat but she didnt tell me what kind to use. So I went to the drug store and they didnt have Monistat they only had the cream but they did have Vagisil 1 day treatment. I have used Vagisil before so I thought it would be okay to use, as they all have the same ingredients. Now when I say "bad" I dont mean my vagina was leaking yeast or anything but it was bad (very itchy, slight swollen, burning, slight cuts) so it wasnt fun. I took the first dose last night before bed like the instructions said. I woke up this morning and it wasnt burning at all and the itch had sort of subsided. So I was very pleased. I still put on a panty liner because I didnt want any of the treatment to leak on my pants or panties. I went to the bathroom about 4 hours later and I wiped after urinating and the whole toilet paper was filled with the cottage cheese type infection. Does that mean the treatment is pushing the yeast out, or has this gotten so much worse overnight. I have never in life seen it that bad. I inserted my finger just to check to see and my finger was covered with yeast (sorry so graphic but I want you to get the picture of what I am saying so I can get some help). Before I go to my doctor, which is very uncomfortable getting a pap smear while pregnant and with a sore vagina, should I try the 3 day or 7 day treatment or give this a few days to clear up? I am very concerned because I have never seen that much discharge in my life -- especially not coming from me. What should I do?

Guinea Pigs, Guinea Pigs, Guinea Pigs?

I have had two baby male guinea pigs for a month now. They are about 2 months old. They get along fine, but they are still not used to me. I've been told they are social, but they still hide in the Pigloo whenever I come to feed them. I've tried laptime, i've played with them but they are still like that. Also, they mess up their cage really fast. I just cleaned it yesterday, and there is already hay, food, and chewsticks everywhere. The cage looks like a dump in a day. Can I train them to stop messing everything up. And lastly; Is it okay that I use windex to clean their cage. I wipe the bottom with it, but I let it dry before I put new bedding in. Is this okay? The Carefresh seems to leave dust on the sides of the cage. Should I switch to aspen shavings? Ok, I just literly like half an hour ago died my hair from light brown to red (well thats what it was sopposed to go.) Not just tinted red a proper red red. And.. Today, on my way home, I saw that my dad had a missed call on his phone. I opened the screen to see who it was, and right below, I saw that he had an unread text from an unsaved contact. I recognized the number, so I entered it into my own phone and found that it matched the cell phone of my aunt (mother's brother's common law wife). It seemed a little over-affectionate, so I opened his inbox and outbox, purely out of curiosity because I'm only human. Much to my horror, I found a whole slew of messages, sent and received, between my dad & my aunt. Some of them were really explicit, and one even said something hurtful about my family. Need Opinions!! Possible Miscarriage!!!!?

Alright, I am 5 weeks and 1 day today, so I am not very far along, but the doctor has been monitoring my HCG levels since last Thursday due to bleeding. My numbers have risen greatly, and she is very pleased with the rate that they are rising. The bleeding that occured last week completely stopped until last night. For about 20 minutes, I had a reddish-brownish bleeding. It wasn't too heavy, not enough to soak even a panty liner, and it only happened when I wiped. I called the doctor to report the incident, and she said that as long as I am not cramping that there is no need to worry yet. I go in tomorrow for another blood test, and then next week after I reach the 6 week mark, we will do an ultrasound to make sure we can see the babys heartbeat. What I am wondering is if any ladies on here have experienced slight bleeding in the first trimester and went on to have a healthy, happy baby. And also, do you think that sex can cause the bleeding that occured? My husband and I had sex Saturday night, and immediately after, I had brown discharge, and then Sunday night we had sex, and Monday afternoon I started bleeding again.
